Musharraf [leader of Pakistan]: Palestine tarnishes U.S. image Sept 22, 2004 NEW YORK, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Distrust of the United States among Muslims worldwide is rooted in its role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf says. Musharraf made the remarks to ABC News in New York where he was attending the 59th session of the U.N. General Assembly. He said among Muslims, whether directly involved with the Middle East conflict or not, Palestine "has the maximum negative perspective," and said it should be a priority for resolution as part of the fight against terrorism. The Koran made no mention of the name Palestine....and the Bible condemned it - for end times with prophecy through Moses, Isaiah and Joel. "There is unanimous sympathy for the Palestinians against the Israelis," he said. "And the United States is seen or perceived as an Israeli supporter and totally against Muslims." Palestinian Islamic militants have sworn themselves to killing every Jew.
He said allegations of abuse of Muslim prisoners at the Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad and the Cuban Guantanamo Bay military prison also fuelled hatred for the United States by Muslims. But they keep silent when Muslims commit Brutal acts - against even their own brethren. The U.N. has yet to come forward with a public condemnation of those beheadings.
However, he [Musharraf] acknowledged the collective memory had lapses. "I have always believed that it was the United States that saved Muslims in Bosnia. Then they even helped them reconstruct," he said. "This is unfortunate that this has all been forgotten by the Muslim world." The Clinton administration sided with the Muslims who provoked a war with the Serbs....for 'Independence'. The Chechen 'separatists' are doing the same. [They want to set up Islamic rule...and are carrying out the commands of the Koran to do so] SEE} A Wall of Testimony for Prophecies concerning Palestine....and God's righteous indignation against the nations. Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Mat 7:13 Wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction [death], and many there be which go in thereat. Isa 14:31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times. Isa 14:26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth [for Judgment]: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. |
