41. What is the purpose of prayer? What can a finite being on Earth possibly tell an omnipotent, omniscient deity that he doesn't know already?

42. If God has a plan for you, and his plan cannot be thwarted, do you really have a free will? {the key 'word' in that question is 'if']

Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will

The Son of God was 'predestinated' - in the Old Testament Scriptures - in the prophecies.

1Cr 12:12 As the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit [Word] of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

The choice is ours: Life or Death - Eternal

Jhn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth {already 'predestinated'] on him. {that wrath - is eternal death

43. If the "soul" is everything that is you (the essence) then how come when someone gets into an accident, they lose memories, functions and can be paralyzed? Why should "brain damage" matter if this "soul" is so important? -- Matt Edwards

45. If the omnipotent God wants us to know him, why doesn't everyone know him?

Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

That choice is yours to make. The God Who proves Himself through prophecies - doesn't force you to know Him. {He's not like that

48. How did Adam and Eve [[[ she was the 'mother of all living' ]]] know it was wrong to disobey God if they hadn't eaten of the tree of knowledge (of good and evil) yet? You can't blame them if they didn't know.

Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

50. If God is all-knowing is there anything we can do to shock him? If not, why does he react so often to what we do?

The Bible does not teach 'reincarnation' - but it does say this:

Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit {a 'smoke' that 'darkens' everything]

Rev 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven [seven time periods], and goeth into perdition.

Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

52. Why does the omnipotent, omnipresent God need help from man or angels to spread his word or do acts?

God does not need help - man does.

Hbr 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Blessed are those who accept it. The Word of God is a gift - from God. It is eternal Life.

Zep 2:3 Seek ye the LORD {in the Book of the Lord], all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Psa 99:5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool [the earth]; for he is holy.

Psa 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

53. How did Jesus ascend to Heaven in the Flesh when Paul says that flesh cannot inherit the kingdom of Heaven? (1 Cor.15:50)

After His crucifixion:

Jhn 21:4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

Jhn 20:14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.

Can 'flesh' change their appearances such as that?

1Cr 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1Cr 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.

54. If God wants us to live right and choose "the good," why did he create evil? (Isaiah 45:6,7) Not to mention he already knows which people are not going to choose "the good" so why create those people in the first place? It seems that many people are born to go to Hell.

There are two kinds of evil: The kind that comes from men's own imaginations - and the kind that God permits - to go after those who commit their own evil.

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He Who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

Job 2:10 But he [Job] said unto her [his wife], Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? {from 'the other' hand] In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Where is it written that God already knows each individual before 'searching them' that they will choose ''the good''? Present the Scriptures.

The Bible says,

Rom 8:27 He that searcheth the hearts [first] knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit

Zec 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire [on 'the highway'], and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Isa 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth {Son of God - made up of many members] fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

55. I hear Christians all the time speaking of a war between Heaven and Hell, if this is true does God have limitations of power? Man only conducts wars because of our limitations of power and foresight. God has both all-power and all-knowledge, no reason for war.

The wicked are cast into hell - but no where does it say "there is a war between heaven and hell"

God speaks to the visible AND the invisible {The God Who proves Himself through prophecies

56. The Bible is full of phrases beginning with, "and the lord saw". Didn't he know before hand?

Or - was He waiting for it to come about? The Bible is also full of the words "Then" and "When"

The very first time the phrase "the lord saw" appears in the Bible - is when "the Lord saw" Leah} Gen 29:31

Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God {who are in 'one body'] shouted for joy?

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. {The 'sun' and 'moon' were not created until the fourth day]

2Pe 3:8 Be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. {So, how many hundreds of years before '''God saw''' that '''the light''' was good?

Jhn 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

The men of this world have a choice - God gave the earth to the children of men

57. The Bible states that in the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth. It says nothing about the Universe. Some would say "the Heavens" was space, if so, when did God create Heaven? If "the heavens" is the spiritual Heaven, when did God create Space?

God created on 'the forth day':

Gen 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

58. If Christians say they know God exists and that he will work miracles, what do they need faith for? Faith is not knowing.

God proves His Word through prophecies {Herein, we can be sure of our faith

Eph 2:8 For by grace {the Spirit of God] are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

Hbr 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

59. Brain transplants will eventually be possible, where would the soul be then? {A thought provoking question - but such transplants remain yet to be seen

With the way things are going in this world - major destruction is on it's way.

Nevertheless....

Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die.

That which is in the mind - is in the heart. Since flesh and blood can not enter the Kingdom - blood transfusions and transplants - don't matter...

but rather...

Those who have shown no mercy in this life - will receive no mercy in the Judgment

60. If God really wants us to know him, why doesn't he place the knowledge of him in our minds at birth? The same way many theists believe that God implants our sense of right and wrong in us a right birth.

What about "free will" ? and the right to make choices?

Is a thought - 'non-existent'?

64. Why can't God appear before everyone at the same time? Everyone in the world would then know he exists and not believe. And please, don't say he already tried that. Surely a God knows exactly what to do to convince a measly human of his existence.

Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

As for God 'pleasing' some whose faith is by sight - and not by the ear or heart? those who are not able to comprehend the power of the prophecies? specifically the one about Palestine? - as all eyes can now see? - that it is in this world?....this was written:

Jhn 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world

Jhn 14:30 for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

65. According to the New Testament Matthew 5:17 says "Do not suppose that I have come to abolish the Law and the prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to complete. I tell you this: so long as heaven and earth endure, not a letter, not a stroke, will disappear from the Law until all that must happen has Happened." So since Jesus has not returned the "Law" is still in effect, so why aren't we still burning witches, stoning adulterers and disobedient children, killing homosexuals, ostracizing people that work on the Sabbath (nurses, doctors etc.), flinging blood onto the horns of the alter, pulling off the heads of small birds, and don't forget human sacrifice to God (Leviticus 27 P.28 )? -- Sheila L. What is a 'stone' ?

If the 'floods' are peoples nations and tongues that came about because that world had been 'replenished' {a command that had been given to Adam and Eve - the same command that God gave to Noah - who sent forth a 'dove' to see if the 'waters' were abated

Then can the 'ark of Noah' that this world has invented - be true? according to Scriptures?

Isa 54:9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth.

Hbr 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

The Old Testament teaches that an 'ark' was called a covenant

Jer 3:16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

Jesus CHOSE eternal life....rather than a temporary one. He was not FORCED into it.

The choice is ours. We don't HAVE TO chose the Father in heaven. {But He is the One Who possesses Life

70. Many Christians claim that man can't judge God's actions as evil because he has a divine plan and is GOD. This being the case, then it would stand to reason that one cannot judge whether God is good either. Wouldn't God be ammoral? It appears that morality is a subjective concept that varies from culture to culture. Therefore, how we judge God either way?

Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes {not money] into the storehouse, that there may be meat {a higher understanding] in mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
