Denying Professor's Visa Sends 'Wrong Message,' Islamic Group
Says

(CNSNews.com) - The Department of Homeland Security has
revoked the visa of an Islamic scholar who was supposed to begin teaching at the
University of Notre Dame this month -- a decision that is not going over well
with an Islamic civil rights group.
The Washington-based Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) said the
government's decision to revoke Tariq Ramadan's visa "sends the wrong message to
the Islamic world about America's willingness to listen to what Muslims have to
say."
In a press release, CAIR says that Ramadan, a Swiss citizen, is "often
described as a 'moderate' and a 'reformer.'" There
is NO such thing as a 'moderate' according to the Koran...CAIR's 'bible'
004.095
Not equal are those believers who
sit (at home) and receive no hurt,
and those who strive and fight
in the
cause of Allah with their goods and their persons.
Allah hath granted a grade higher
to
those who strive and fight
with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home).
Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised
good: But those who strive
and fight Hath He distinguished
above those who sit (at home) by a special reward.
002.216
Fighting is prescribed for you
But as CNSNews.com reported last month, Ramadan is a
controversial figure in Europe, where he is accused of anti-Semitism and
advocating violence against women.
The Department of Homeland Security revoked Ramadan's visa at the end of July,
after his family's belongings had already been sent to the United States, CAIR
noted.
Notre Dame University said it knew of "no reason why his entry should be
prevented." But, as CAIR noted, a report in the Chicago Tribune suggested that
the decision to revoke Ramadan's visa "could have been influenced by some
Jewish groups that have waged a campaign against scholars and public
intellectuals whose views on Islam and the Middle East conflict with their own."
The Koran conflicts with ALL humanitarian laws. If ever presented before this
world....CAIR will be left speechless.
According to CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad, "The best way to improve
deteriorating relations with the Muslim world is by listening to mainstream
Islamic political and religious voices, not by censoring respected
scholars whose views are apparently feared by those who seek a monopoly
on intellectual debate."
Debate these...from the Koran:
004.094 O ye who
believe! When ye ''''go abroad''''
in the cause of Allah
002.191 Slay
them wherever ye catch them
008.067 It is not
fitting for a prophet that he should have prisoners of war [slay
them] until he
hath thoroughly subdued the land.
002.193 And
fight them on
until there is no more Tumult or oppression,
and there prevail
justice and faith in Allah.
047.004 Therefore, when ye meet
the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at
their necks. [Behead them]
005.033
The punishment
of those who
wage war against Allah
and His Messenger
is:
execution, or
crucifixion, or the
cutting off of hands and feet
How is it, the allah of the Koran speaks about those
who '''''wage war'''''
when he repetitiously commands his own followers to do just that?
Wage War!
This needs to be debated....by all of the
humanitarians!
All who argue that the Muslims who go out and fight
are not better than the ones who don't.....have NO right to call themselves
a 'scholar' of Islam. The Koran has more authority in Islam than any of
them. And the Koran speaks differently than they do.
Awad said the government's decision to revoke Ramadan's visa "runs counter to
recent remarks by President Bush's national security advisor Condoleezza Rice,
who said just last week that America must expand 'efforts to support and
encourage the voices of moderation and tolerance and pluralism within the Muslim
world.'"
Scott Appleby, director of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace
Studies at Notre Dame, a Catholic institution, said last month he
was aware of the controversy surrounding Ramadan.
"If we felt Tariq Ramadan were anti-Semitic or opposed to women or an advocate
of violence, those would be barriers to him joining our faculty," he said. "We
don't believe that those are fair accusations."
How about this accusation for ALL Catholics:
Koran}
037.151 Is it not that they say, from their
own invention,
037.152 Allah has begotten children? but they are liars!
019.088 They say: (Allah)
Most Gracious has begotten a son!
019.089 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!
The Koran
calls all of the witnesses of the New Testament --- liars!
How do
they call themselves Catholics?
1Jo 2:22
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?
He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and
the Son.
2Jo 1:10
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine
[of Christ], receive him not
into your house, neither bid him God speed:
1Cr 10:21
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be
partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
You
cannot sit at the table of those who deny the Son of God, and sit at the Son's
Table also!
What
kind of a message is Scott
Appleby sending to the Catholics that are a part of his 'Catholic' Institute?
[It's not the Gospel of Christ....according to the Word of Christ]
Has the
Catholic name been hijacked by those who would call the Son of God an
abomination? How many Catholics would agree with such Blasphemy?
